How to Convert Degree Fahrenheit to Degree Celsius

Example: How many degree Celsius are equivalent to 39.13 degree Fahrenheit?

As;

1 degree Fahrenheit = (5/9)*(X-32) degree Celsius

39.13 degree Fahrenheit = Y degree Celsius

Assuming Y is the answer, and by substitution principle;

Y equals ( (5/9)*(39.13-32) ) over 1, where X is substituted by 39.13

(i.e.) Y = ( (5/9)*(39.13-32) ) / 1 = 3.9611111111111 degree Celsius

Answer is: 3.9611111111111 degree Celsius are equivalent to 39.13 degree Fahrenheit.
